Meritoship team reviewing multi-exchange analytics dashboard
About Meritoship

Built for people who manage their own capital

Meritoship started from a simple frustration: tracking positions and performance across several exchanges meant juggling spreadsheets, browser tabs, and half-trusted exports. We built the tool we wanted to use ourselves.

Our story

From scattered dashboards to one view

Meritoship began as an internal project for a small group of independent traders and freelance analysts who were tired of reconciling balances and trade history by hand across multiple exchange accounts.

What started as a shared spreadsheet template grew into a dedicated platform: one place to pull in exchange data, normalise it, and surface the metrics that actually inform a decision — exposure, drawdown, and realised versus unrealised performance.

We remain focused on that original problem rather than expanding into unrelated services. Meritoship aggregates and analyses; it does not place trades or manage funds on a client's behalf.

Mission

Clear information, held to a consistent standard

We exist to give independent traders, freelancers, and small-scale managers the same clarity over a multi-exchange portfolio that larger desks take for granted — without requiring a technical team to build it.

01

One consistent picture

Positions and history from different exchanges are normalised into a single, comparable view instead of separate, incompatible exports.

02

Analysis, not advice

We present data and calculated metrics. Decisions about what to do with that information stay with the person managing the account.

03

Built for daily use

The platform is designed around the routine checks traders actually run, not a one-off report that gets opened once and forgotten.

Values

What guides how we build Meritoship

These principles shape product decisions more than any single feature request.

Accuracy over speed

We'd rather delay a figure than display a number we can't stand behind. Data aggregation only matters if it's trustworthy.

Principle 01

Plain language

Metrics and dashboards are labelled in terms a working trader understands, not buried in jargon designed to impress.

Principle 02

Scoped honestly

We describe Meritoship as what it is — an analytics and aggregation tool — and avoid implying advisory or custodial services we don't provide.

Principle 03

Respect for the account holder

The portfolio belongs to the user. Our role is to make it legible, not to insert ourselves into the decisions made with it.

Principle 04

Incremental, tested change

New views and calculations are rolled out carefully rather than shipped for the sake of novelty.

Principle 05

Direct feedback loop

Feature priorities come from how the platform is actually used, not from assumptions made in isolation.

Principle 06
Team

A small, focused group

Meritoship is maintained by a compact team covering product, data engineering, and support. We stay intentionally small so that decisions about data handling and feature scope remain considered rather than rushed.

1

Product & design

Shapes how metrics are presented and prioritises which exchange integrations and views get built next.

2

Data & engineering

Maintains the pipelines that pull, normalise, and reconcile data from connected exchange accounts.

3

Reliability

Monitors data accuracy and uptime, and handles the quieter work of keeping integrations stable over time.

4

Support

Answers account and usage questions directly, and routes recurring feedback back into the product roadmap.
